The trouble with the world today is most people want the harvest of self-acceptance, self-love, self-worth, and a healthy wellbeing, instantly. And seem to want to skip over the part where you have to do the work required to achieve them. Doing the work is like farming your existence, experiences, heart, mind, and soul. A harvest will not happen over night. A lot happens in between, so if you want it, get ready to do some real work.
Being fluent in self discovery, self love, self worth, self understanding and self knowledge doesn’t happen overnight. it takes continuous practice, patience, perseverance, and diligent work. It takes unlearning the way you’ve nurtured yourself in these aspects, and applying a new way. It’s hard because the old way is familiar. But the more you learn a new way, the stronger the familiarity of that becomes, and the more the old washes away. Meet yourself where you are, right now, today. It is not a competition to see who has weathered, or calmed the most storms. It is a personal and private journey in the evolvement, and betterment of your human ‘being’.
